Meet Lacy Anderson - Owner of UP Family Doula & Certified Educator
Hey I'm Lacy, I am a Yooper local! I'm mama to three, whom I love to spend my time with (which is a lot because I also homeschool! LOL.) I started my birth worker journey back in high school, where I had the opportunity to support a friend in welcoming her first babe! I instantly fell in love with pregnancy, childbirth and family growth and all the little moments that comes with that. When it comes to my passions and supporting others, I have always been a "go getter" and I pour my heart and soul into everything I do! I am always trying to grown and learn not just for my family but for the families I support as well.
At this time I am Certified as a Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, VBAC and Postpartum Doula. I'm a Registered Kangaroula, Certified Passenger Safety Technician Proxy and a 4TFM Prep4Birth Fitness Instructor.
Additional trainings I've received include, Spinning Babies, Survivor Mom's Companion and CPR.
In 2025 I joined the BirthWorks International Board of Directors as their Director of the Ambassador Program
