A Kangaroula unique level of training that focuses on supporting the your baby. Some refer to it as a "Baby Doula."
A Kangaroula is an extension of education and care I provide as a Doula with education in nurturescience.
As a Birth Doula I support parents during the pregnancy and early stages of parenting. As a Kangaroula I also support and advocate for the baby, helping your newborn to have a voice and to feel safe and regulated in the transition from womb to world. As well as supporting the baby and mother dyad from birth to bonding.
Read more here about additional ways I support families as a Kangaroula.
As always this support is about education, empowerment and working together as team to protect and encourage a healthy start for you and your baby!
Kay-ga-roo-la.
It is a combination of Kanga and Doula.
What does Kangaroula stand for?
Kangaroula combines the word “kangaroo” (for skin-to-skin care) and “Doula.”
